Isohunt | Tracking torrents in the best way

Browsing for torrent files has always been a hobby of mine ever since I discovered its use and how to use clients like µTorrent. No longer do I have to sit and stare at movies, anime, and games that I once thought could only be attained through purchasing at the mall. I can instantly download all the movies and computer games that I can get my hands on through torrents and by using µTorrent to download them off as real files.

The difficult aspect of all this is looking for torrent hosting websites that have good files in their databases. Users who register in BitTorrent trackers like The Pirate Bay, Mininova, and Isohunt, upload their files as peer-to-peer torrent files for everyone to download and support on the internet. Isohunt focuses on the P2P aspect of their services and aims to provide its users torrent files that are of good quality and are available for anyone who wishes to download them off their servers. I have come across the website and so far I have no problems whatsoever with their torrents. They download and work perfectly with a lot of people leeching and seeding them constantly for other people’s use. These are the aspects that any torrent tracking website should keep in mind; torrents should be in good working order once they are downloaded off the client and they should be supported and analyzed by the users themselves.

There are some things about Isohunt that needs more improvement. Looking at the ads that surround the entire page, I am guessing that their funds come from the profit they earn from the ads that hang around the borders of their pages. They also feature some games in which users can participate and the winners get prizes such as iPods and other gadgets if they win. They should at least organize their pages so that first time torrent users will not feel intimidated or skeptical about the website since others who have advertisements everywhere tend to disappoint a lot of people. Also, each time a person clicks on a link to a torrent file, they should at least fix their description pages, what with all the links being displayed that indicate where the seeds are coming from.

Anything, no matter how perfect they seem to be, has room for improvement and Isohunt can do so to make them an even more popular BitTorrent tracker. I still find the website a reliable source of torrent files and the same leech-seed system applies to them so it will not take me too long to get the hang of it. A lot of users will find Isohunt a very user-friendly and interactive place as well since they have forums and games for everyone to take part of. All it takes is just a cleanup of their ads, links, and maybe improve on their site navigation so that new users who are unfamiliar with the website will not have a hard time looking for the files and web pages that they need.
